Cataclysm Series 07 – Ezekiel’s Earthquake Part 2 – The Day after Pentecost

This talk is part two of a two-part series on the earthquake that is described in Ezekiel 38:19, namely,” In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.” We will consider the identity of the nations involved in the invasion and their demise on the mountains of Israel. We will attempt to identify the Valley of Hamon Gog which is the burial site of the invading but defeated hordes. The subtitle of this presentation is “The Day after Pentecost” because the prophets are totally consistent that there will come a day when God pours out his Holy Spirit of Grace on the People and the Land of Israel. This will lead to an intense period of national mourning and repentance. Geoff believes that this spiritual cleansing will parallel the seven years of physical cleansing of the land (Ezekiel 39:9). Ultimately, all Israel will be saved (Jeremiah 31:34; Romans 11:26) as the nation enters the New Covenant. They will fulfill their destiny of being a light to the Nations.
