I believe that the Lord really has something special. I want to mention that this is going to be our reference guide during the study, and you really will need one of these Teshuvah reference guides, because articles come from this that are the backup of what we will be speaking of.

So, we have them available if you don’t have one. Many of you already have one. We’ve sent them to you.

I would highly recommend that you have a resource from the Jewish writings, from a Jewish reference, because you will see the difference in this class as we see words that were not properly aligned with the text.

And so, there is the Complete Jewish Bible, there’s The Scriptures, there’s the Tree of Life—there are any number of them, but it will really help you see the points and what the Spirit is really doing in this hour.

Our Father. We just come to You. We realize that of ourselves, we can do nothing. You are our source of wisdom. You’re our strength. You’re our guidance. I read today that Your eye runs to and fro throughout the earth in search of those whose heart is turned to You, that You will strengthen that heart. And Father, we ask You to strengthen us today.

Strengthen us to be hearers of Your Word, and that we would delight to do Your will, even as it was written of Yeshua itt was written in the book, that He delighted to do Your Will. May You be able to write that about us in Your Book. So thank you. Thank you for these that have come, and we just ask you to bless them. May your Spirit—I just pray, Father, that you will open our eyes, that we would see wondrous things from Your Torah. In Yeshua’s name, Amen.

I don’t want to get ahead of my slides, but I believe you are in a very significant hour, next to the time of Yeshua’s first coming. I believe that we are people preparing for his return.

Many people know this. Some do and some don’t. But that’s my heart, because it’s my “idée fixe.” I don’t know if you’re familiar with that. Idée fixe is something that’s a possession. It’s a message that I am very caught up in—being ready and making people ready for his coming. So again, I want to thank you for being with us today.

I just welcome you to take the time to come. And this is the Alignment Series. I believe this is a key word in this hour: alignment. We’re going to talk about what is the connotation of alignment. And this first lesson—I could speak this whole six weeks on priority of authority because it is key to the life that we live before him, that we’re in alignment and we have the proper priority of authority.

This is true always in our lives too.

On my way, I had a wonderful experience. I don’t know about you, but this time of year I actually dodge the potholes to fall into another pothole. But on my way, I couldn’t believe it. My whole trip here, all the potholes had been repaired. I said, “Lord, this is a very good sign,” and I want to tell you why that is.

Because, you know, a pothole knocks your car out of alignment, and you know, you start having steering problems. You want to go one way; it wants to go another. And then if you get out on the highway and you get to a high speed, you really got problems. You can’t wait to get to the garage. But I want to bring it down to the spiritual level.

You know, if you have a dream, you have a prophetic word—car is always your ministry—and falling into a pothole spiritually takes you out of alignment. And we have had some potholes along the way. We’re going to talk about some of those today, but just the fact that he repaired the road that I came on, I said, “Lord, this is a sign from you.”

You’re repairing the potholes. So, dear ones, you know you don’t want to miss your naturals. I’ll talk to you about that. He speaks in a natural before a spiritual. You know, Paul talks about this in 1 Corinthians 15:46. So I just think he’s up to something. I was already convinced of that, but this is affirmation. I want you to consider the words of Yeshua, Jesus—you might call him—in Mark 4:22-25. He gave me this verse in 2015 for the first Convocation. And I believe this is a “now” verse. You know, there are times the Spirit is speaking something, and we have to know by the Spirit what the time and seasons are. What is the Spirit saying? You know, it says seven times in Revelation 2 and 3, what is the Spirit saying to the Ecclesia?

Those seven assemblies: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira? What is He saying? Now this is one of the things He’s saying. He says, “Nothing is hidden except to be made manifest, nor is anything secret except to come to light. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” He said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear.”

With the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you. For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. Now here’s what I want to caution you. I’ll probably say some things today that you might hear and say, “I don’t know about that.”

That’s okay. But this is what I caution you: Don’t say, “I don’t believe it. I won’t receive it.” Do this: Go back and ask the Father, “Did you give that to Marilyn?” Before you make a decision and set your heart against that which the Spirit may have given me. And I believe I’m going to give you only what He’s given me.

And I’m going to give you only text. So I want to caution you on that, because people sometimes cut themselves off because they make a predetermination, and later they find out they were wrong. So let’s stay open to the Spirit.

I believe there’s a worldwide awakening occurring. It’s still under the radar. People don’t really know it, but the spiritual pulse and waves are increasing. 2020—again, be up, be alert in the natural because the Father speaks through naturals. We have come into 2020. What’s 2020 mean?

You want to have 20/20 vision and see that’s what He’s up to. He’s opening eyes for those who will see. And today He’s gathered you here. There’s one thing I learned in reading after Jewish writings that encouraged me and opened my eyes.

We want to be alert to a time and season, and all. Everything natural has a meaning, and nothing is by accident. Your life is ordered. Everything—even a time a person is born, a time a person dies—is not an accident. It’s all been written, and it’s an appointed time. So we are in—we are one of the most blessed people to be in this time, I think, next to Messiah’s coming. This awakening is not a revival. It’s not going to look like revival. Revivals build and you feel them and they build and then they crescendo. But not this move. This move is subtle. It’s been actually going on for some time. When Israel became a nation, that was a big marker right there in 1948. Then there’s been waves where the Spirit is opening.

He’s bringing his people back to text. So I’m going to talk more and more about that. This is a restoration. And I woke up Thursday morning with the words “face off.” It’s the face off  oftruth versus tradition.

We find that in Mark 7 Jesus/ Yeshua addresses the problem that we actually have today. And He said this.

He spoke to the Jewish leaders: “You are teaching as doctrine the commandments of men.”

“You leave the Commandment of Elohim or God and hold to the traditions of men.”

He said to them, “You have a fine way.” I don’t want you to miss this now. And He put a concluding mark: “You have a fine way of rejecting the commandments of Elohim or God in order to establish your tradition.”

Now, to ask you: “You have a fine way of putting aside the commandments of God for your traditions.” What commandments is He talking about? I leave that with you. What commandments is he talking about? “You are replacing the commandments of God for your traditions.” Now back. I want to say that in Ecclesiastes, three times King Solomon wrote these words.

“What was is what will be; what has been is what is coming.” He says it in chapter 1, verse 9; in chapter 3:15; and 6:10. When you have something repeated, you can be sure. So what he’s teaching us is our Father teaches by patterns; what was is going to come back around. And so the very thing that Yeshua or Jesus experienced in His first coming will actually be part of what will be happening in His return.

It’s actually a very important principle. The face off then is now truth of our Father’s teachings versus the traditions of men. Now, most of us would say we’re not in tradition, but as we continue to examine the Scriptures, we’ll keep looking at this closely and we’ll examine where we are in our teachings. Truth seekers: truth versus tradition. There is a litmus test that you must take.

This is really the reason we are where we are today. We didn’t do this—what I call the litmus test—and it’s found in Acts 17:11. I just want to look at it with you if you have your Bibles. In fact, I really encourage you when you come to my class, bring your Bibles and listen to what Doctor Luke is writing.

He says, “The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived, they went into the Jewish synagogue. Now, these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica. They received the Word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.” This is the litmus test: What you believe you must find in text. If it’s not there. Dear ones, our Father doesn’t teach it.

If He says it, He teaches it. If He teaches it, it’s in the word. And so this is a mistake we’ve made. We have had men tell us things, but we don’t know where we find it in Scripture. It’s just been told, and it’s said—you know, if you tell people the same thing over and over and over, we have some of this going on today.

If you keep repeating the thing, pretty soon people can begin to believe it because they don’t have a frame of reference for truth. But you have a frame of reference. I have a frame of reference. This Book is my frame of reference, and I’ll be held responsible to know what’s in this Book, and I must build my life on this Book—not what men teach me.

When I stand before him, it won’t matter if I say, “Well, that’s what my pastor said.” But He will say, “I didn’t ask you to listen to your pastor. I asked you to listen and read My Book.” 2020: Face Off, Truth versus Tradition. This—I love this verse that King David wrote after his great sin about Bathsheba. He wrote, “Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.” You know, this is what He’s looking for: people who want truth. If you’re a truth seeker, it won’t matter to you what other people think. What does my Father say? This is what’s going to be the test in the end.

Because if you don’t hear it here, if you don’t learn it here, you’re going to meet it at the Bema Seat. But it’ll be too late. You see, your rank in the kingdom will determine your decisions here. We’ll talk about more of that later too, in another class. Every venue of life we face priority of authority. All Scripture verifies our Eternal Father Yehovah  Elohim is the highest authority.

Now, before we go further in sharing, I want to—in the Alignment Series that will be in—I want to bring out distinctions of words that we’ll be using or concepts so that we have a frame of reference coming from a same point of view. That’s very important because one word may mean something to you.

That doesn’t mean the same to me, but I want you to know where I’m coming from. It may not be where you’re coming from, but it’s where I’m coming from. Judaism teaches Hebrew is our Father’s language. It’s known as Lashon HaKodesh. It’s the holy tongue. Volumes are written about the 22 living Aleph-Bet letters that make up the Hebrew alphabet.

You see, if it comes out of the mouth of the Father, they teach us every letter is living. Well, obviously He’s eternal. Everything he speaks is eternal. It’s actually His words. It’s holding everything up and together. Isn’t that what Paul teaches? Paul teaches that because that’s in the text. That’s in the word. That’s based on the Father. He says, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Father.”

And those are very important words. Not every word that proceeds out of a spiritual leader—a spiritual leader may not be correct. We’ve got to be sure that what we’re hearing is based on text. This was the only language until the Tower of Babel. So for 2000 years, the Hebrew language was the language of the earth.

In the Alignment Series, there are certain words, and you will find that again as we—if you look into the Jewish translator versions of text—this will be more what you’ll be finding, though. Different ones. Not everybody uses word I used for name I used for the Father, and that’s entirely up to you.

But some research has been done. But for Lord, the Tetragrammaton, the Yod Heh Vav Heh, we use—I use YaHVeh. I don’t put that on anyone else. That just happens to be the name that, for the closest research that I see being done today, I’m the most comfortable with, You notice at one time we had—I had YaHVeH and I like that.

But you know, He said, “My people shall know my name.” Isaiah 52:6. He also says in John 17:26, “I have made known to them Your name. And I will continue to make it known, in order that the love You have for Me will be in them, and that I might be in them.” And so He’s forever—Messiah in us is revealing the Father.

For Jesus.we prefer his Hebraic name, Yeshua. You know what Yeshua means: salvation. I think of Isaiah 12, and it says, “We shall draw joy from the wells of salvation.” Yeshua in us is source of joy. The source—he said, “My joy I give to you.” For Christ we use Messiah. And in place of God, I prefer personally Elohim for several reasons, and I’m not going into that at this point.

Since the word “church” does not exist in the Greek—which might be a surprise to you—we use Ekklesia, which means congregation or assembly. So when you look at the seven letters to the seven epistles to the Ekklesia of Revelation 2:3, it is the Epistle to the Ekklesia at Ephesus, at Smyrna, at Pergamum.

The church father Marcion in the second century—he was later termed a heretic and actually excommunicated. But you can see that his teaching stuck because he’s the one who invented the Old Testament. You see, they had the concept that we have a New Testament, and so we don’t need the Old Testament. This is Marcion said the Old Testament should be taken out of the Bible.

My, we don’t need the Old Testament! Well, I beg your pardon. The Hebraic term was always Tanakh. It is today. If you are ministering to a Jewish person or talking to them, you do well to use the word Tanakh because this is their  word. It’s an acrostic: “Ta” for Torah, which are the five books of Moses;

“Na”for Nevi’im, this is the prophets; and “Kh” for Kethuvim, which is all the other writings—Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon. And so these are the original writings. And everything we have is built on these writings, and it must align with these writings. Our Father does not have two standards. He says, “I change not.”

Christian scholars translated the Hebrew word Torah as “law.” I tell you, this has cost a tremendous amount of confusion and misguided interpretation of so much of Scripture. It does not. Torah is the word that means instruction, teaching. So where was the Torah given? At Mount Sinai. So at Mount Sinai He brought His teachings, His instructions to his chosen people through Moses.

Now what father would do away with his teachings and instructions? It can’t be. They become the heartline of a child in a home. A godly father raises his children according to his teachings and instructions. It says in Proverbs 1:9, “Hear my son, your father’s instruction.” This would be Torah. “And forsake not your mother’s teachings.” That word is Torah.

The Torah given at Mount Sinai is our Father’s instruction, teaching for his children. Now this is—I’ve underlined this sentence. I hope you hear it. Torah is the foundation of all Scripture, and Scripture cannot contradict the Torah. Our Father—that would be unheard of. He’s never made a mistake. Torah is the primary source, revealing insight and understanding of our Father’s thoughts and ways.

I have this later, but I’m going to give it to you now because the Spirit’s bringing it to me. This is one of my favorite verses in all of the Torah. Moses said after the sin of the golden calf, he went to the Father, and he said, Yehovah, You whoever, if I have found favor in your eyes, please show me your ways.”

Why?” That I might know You.” You see, to know His ways is when you’re really coming to know Him—how He thinks. I live with Don. I won’t tell you how many years we’ve lived together. But I can tell you, I know my husband so well. I can tell you when I’m going to get favor and when I’m going to get a “no.”

I know what he likes, and I know when to speak. And I know when to be quiet. Because I’ve lived with him, I know him. I know him in his spirit, and he knows me. And that’s the way I want to know my Father, and I want to please him. I want to be a joy to his heart.

I don’t want to grieve Him. Do you know, it says in Genesis 6:6, it gave Him pain in His heart that He made man? How much pain do we give our Father? The creation account in the Torah—I want you just to see in the five books of Moses—if you laid them a side, this is only part of what you will miss.

You’ll miss the creation account. He defined signs and seasons. In Genesis 1:14 He says, the sun, the moon, and stars will be oaths. They will be for signs and for seasons. They are archetypes. You’ll miss all the types, the prototypes. You’ll miss the prophetic patterns. His Sabbath rest, His two calendars reveal the dates and seasons, account of the flood.

He even gives you exact dates when the rain fell and when Noah went in the ark. You’ll miss all of that. You’ll miss the call of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You’ll miss Israel when he called his firstborn son. You’ll miss hearing the definition of the Ten Commandments, and out of 7 or 8 primary covenants, 5 of them are in the Torah.

Do you know covenants are the building blocks of Scripture? And seven festivals are all in the Torah. I’m just naming a few major pieces. No wonder our people—the Lord’s people—don’t know the calendar, don’t know his calendar, don’t know the festivals, don’t know the times and seasons. Because we were taught that we don’t need the Torah.

But our Father’s correcting it. This is what He’s doing. He said the things that have been hidden—I’m now raising the curtain. I am showing you. I’m calling you children to Me because Messiah is coming. My kingdom is coming. It’s the restoration of the Father’s Presence. This is what’s really happening before our eyes. Yehovah distinguishes Israel as His firstborn son. That’s in the Torah: Exodus 4:22.

Israel is the primary reference by which he reveals his prophetic patterns. Israel is a prophetic pattern for redemption. Let me show you—this is so beautiful. I mean, you know it. I’m going to read it, then I can comment. Redemption from Israel—if you, we are in Torah study right now, this is what we’ve just been through.

Are the ten plagues bringing the children of Israel out of Egypt, out of bondage, out of slavery? How they come out by the blood of the Passover lamb. You see the prototype, you see the archetype. Unleavened bread, went through the Red Sea—that’s first fruits, death, burial, and resurrection. And what happened? The enemy was swallowed up. They went out of the kingdom of bondage and darkness into freedom, into light.

They are now redeemed by the blood of the Passover lamb. It is exactly what happens to you and me. And this is the problem, though: We didn’t follow the pattern. When they came through the Red Sea, where did Yehovah tell Moses to take them? So they went next to Mount Sinai because there they got the Torah. You see, the redeemed people are the people who are ready for the Father’s teaching.

The Torah never made anyone righteous. The Torah is for the righteous. So the righteous will know how to please the heavenly Father and walk with Him. You see, He didn’t come to take up your way and my way. He came to invite you to be a part of His kingdom and walk out His way. This shows the festivals: the Passover lamb, the unleavened bread, the first fruits come in and say, guess what?

Fifty days later, they’re at Mount Sinai. What was 50? You call it Pentecost; in the Hebrew, it’s Shavuot. The first Pentecost, Shavuot was at Mount Sinai. They came there and that’s where they got the Torah, because He asked them, “Will you be my people? Will you accept my teachings?” They said, “We will,” but they didn’t always carry it out.

So they’d been punished for that too, just like we are punished if we don’t carry out His word. I’m just giving you some things that are just ways that he works. He says that everything has to be established by 2 or 3 witnesses. You know, Paul—I think that’s in Deuteronomy 17. But Paul quoted that in 2 Corinthians 13:1. You will find what the apostles taught.

They were really drawing back into the teaching of the Torah, the Tanakh. Identifying a few of our Father’s ways from biblical texts and for our lives. We could spend all day looking at some, but I’m giving you some that we will be referring to in our teaching, so you just are familiar with them. He always moves from natural to spiritual.

Now remember the pothole story. I’m coming to class and the road has been repaired. What am I going to get out of that? Prophetically I say, “Lord, you’re repairing. You’re repairing the breach. You’re repairing where we’ve been in the pothole and gone out of alignment. You’re going to put us back in alignment. You’re opening our eyes to see.”

I want to give you a scripture for that: Isaiah 32. We’ve been here. I’ve been meditating on this verse for some time, but just last year I felt it’s happening. Isaiah 32:3-4. Listen to what He says. I think this is for you today. “Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed, and the ears of those who hear will give attention.

“The heart of the hasty will understand and know, and the tongue of the stammers will hasten to speak distinctly.” You see, there’s a time. There’s a move of the Spirit when you haven’t been ready. But now you’re ready. It’s 2020; it’s 20/20 vision. And He’s doing something special. But He has to find people who align with Him. Think of it.

Abraham had to leave His home. He had to leave everything. He didn’t even know where he was going. But he said yes. You think of Martin Luther in 1517, and he gets this download: “The just shall live by faith.” He was just one man, but he took a stand. Now he’s far from a perfect man, and He falls into a lot of potholes.

But the thing of it is, he brought that piece of restoration to us, and now this is a continuous—this is much bigger than one element of truth. These are going to be multiple, multiple facets of truth that he’s getting us ready for.
