“We belong to an unshakeable Kingdom, nothing will stop it from coming and nothing will destroy its destiny.”
Since the beginning of world history, God has built into His world hope for mankind. “The world’s history is a Divine poem of which the history of every nation is a canto and every man a word. Its strains have been pealing down the centuries, and though there have been mingled discords of warring cannon and dying men, yet to the Christian…there has been a Divine melody running through the song which speaks of hope and halcyon days to come” (James A. Garfield, Klopsch, Many Thoughts of Many Minds).
The archived journals of the annals of history are like the art of a stanza of a song (canto). Those who follow the Jewish-Christian Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus), hear the beautiful thread of melodious harmony with expectation and desire for the song that brings us calm (halcyon) for the days ahead.
Supposing we survey a world map, we will see nations experiencing upheaval, terrorizing demonstrations, and violence along with plagues and sickness. The whole world seems to be shaking in some way. Family and friends grieve and tell us, “I don’t listen to the news anymore because it is so negative.” It is conceivable that you might be experiencing similar anxiety and wonder what is going on? I believe nothing will keep God’s Kingdom from advancing in this world, and nothing will prevent its establishment in the City of Jerusalem (Matthew 2:24).
While the Kingdom of God is within the yielded human heart, at the same time it is traversing toward us for God will rule and reign from Jerusalem as the Kingdom is fully established on earth.”
A minority of pastors teach about the physical Davidic Kingdom. In some measure, the earth presently groans as part of the birth pangs, which will increase until this Kingdom arrives on schedule. The evil one is highly antagonistic at the very idea of Yeshua ruling from Jerusalem as this determines his destiny and would bring about his demise. The mother of all battles lies ahead. We should not “follow the crowd” but ascertain what the Lord says.
The trials we find ourselves in today may last longer than we think. Labor pains may get more painful before God releases anyone. God’s testings have been a part of Biblical history. We must prepare. Of all the teaching the Lord delivered to His disciples, Yeshua made the Coming Kingdom of God paramount. We must persevere and wait for deliverance as opposing kingdoms advance aggressively in world warfare. No doubt, we will hear of conflicts, wars, and reports of war for some time to come. Our work is to press through for the Kingdom and to work shoulder-to-shoulder with God as His Holy Spirit gives us the passion for doing so. The annals of history, as quoted above, are singing with us a song of excitement at the expectation of this coronation event.
Worldwide, the church needs to repair its relationship with the Jewish nation contrary to joining the naysayers of Christian antisemitism. I am ashamed of the headlines I read from Israel in which orthodox Christian leaders continue to castigate Israel for actions that are not founded upon truth. Even if true, Christians have no authority from the King to criticize and reprimand Israel.
God is A God of Oneness
Will the church continue to separate from Israel and ignore God’s Word? Christian Friends of Israel committed years ago to represent Jesus the way He should always have been represented to the Jewish people. After two thousand years of Christian misconduct to the Jews, it is our desire to give a true demonstration of God’s unconditional love, which is the core of a relationship.
Presently Israel is passing through a difficult time. The whole future for Israel culminates in the ruling of the nations from Jerusalem. It belongs to the Lord of Lords and Kings of Kings! “…the Kingdom is the Lord’s, and He rules over the nations” (Psalm 22:28). Israel is destined to become a priestly nation. I love listening to some of the God-fearing Israelis who gather to “sing unto the Lord,” listening to their hearts as they yearn for God to deliver them and to come to build this Kingdom.
What is this Kingdom rule to be like? Most importantly, God will be “all in all” (1 Corinthians 15:28). We will be part of the Commonwealth of Israel (Ephesians 2:12). Fundamentally, Ephesians clearly implies the uniting of Gentiles with Jews (not Jews with Gentiles). This is an extremely major comprehension as Israel will not come our way; we are meant to come their way–when the Israel of God emerges into a redeemed nation. This may be a shock to many, but I can hear Lance Lambert say, “This is the whole counsel of God.”
Scripture explains that the Gentiles were without a Messiah and excluded from the citizenship of Israel, but Yeshua, a Jew in the flesh, brought us into the family. This remarkable reconciliation cannot happen if a connection remains broken. Replacement theologians severed the chain that tied us together. Our leaders and pastors need to arise with a vision for the prophetic future, including Israel and reconnect to the missing link in our faith.
We must discern the abominable spirits of deception attempting to put an end to all that that God has promised for Israel and those who love her. When Satan understood that Jesus was the Chosen One to bring salvation to the world, He began to make plans to bring about a particular evil assault on God’s Kingdom. One-third of the unrighteous angels followed him instead of God. This present darkness of principalities and powers of the air are among us (Ephesians 6:12-18). Dark forces in today’s world have formed allegiances to another god other than the One we worship. The fallen kingdom of rebellious spirits is clearly at work and will stop at nothing to deter God’s plan for mankind.
What is a Kingdom?
“A kingdom is a country, state, or territory…it is a domain…a piece of land ruled by a King…who has absolute authority and influence over a people…every king is automatically a “lord.” A lord is defined as someone having power, authority, or influence; a master or ruler…Lordship makes the king unique…he isn’t voted in nor out of office or power. His sovereignty is by birthright…all kings are automatically lords, but not all lords are kings…the laws of a kingdom are to be obeyed by all, including foreigners residing in it…once in the kingdom, the king is personally responsible for you and your needs” (Excerpts quoted from the University of Chicago Press, 1973).
God will make His Holy name known to Israel and the whole world (Ezekiel 39:7). His Glory will be seen among the nations. The Bible is all about God keeping covenant with the sons of Jacob and all who love Him. This is the premier reason for the intense raging fury of jealousy and competition for the throne and to prevent Israel from becoming a “light to the nations” (Isaiah 42:6). As we watch for the Master’s return, we must be sure not to bow to any other but the One True God of Israel. We have great men and women who went before us. Mordecai, Hadassah (Esther), Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and others come to mind who did not bow to any other gods except The Creator.
Yeshua has already won the battle of the kingdoms! Yeshua was so determined to do His Father’s Will. We need that same determination. The shout of a King will indeed cause the Kingdom to be established. Those who hear His Shout will recognize the sound and be ready to enter Messiah’s presence at any time. Our unshakeable coming Kingdom will still be standing when Satan’s is destroyed, and God will be all in all. “And when all things have been subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will be made subject to Him who put all things under Him, so that God may be all in all” (1 Corinthians 15:28, Berean Study Bible). Then and only then will there cease to be kingdom against kingdom.
