After The Millennium 2 – The Bride has made Herself Ready
This is the second part of a two-part talk which has been given towards the end of the Feast of Tabernacles 2022 to be posted on the mysterious 8th Day which the Rabbis now call Simchat Torah. This is the “Rejoicing in the Law” and it pre-figures a wedding. This talk focuses on many prophetic scriptures indicating both Israel’s rejection (divorce) and her future acceptance (re-marriage). In particular, we look at the story of Hosea. His story parallels the relationship between God and his people Israel. Other prophetic scriptures considered are taken from the books of Jeremiah, Isaiah, and Ezekiel as well as passages from the New Testament. The Bible is totally consistent. It is summed up in the words of the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans in chapter 11, verse 15:
For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
During the “times of the Gentiles”, the gospel has been preached to the ends of the earth. For God so loved the World that he gave his only son. The rebirth and regathering of Israel is pre-requisite to their return to the Lord which will happen when the Holy Spirit falls on the nation. The fact is there is only one bride which is both Jew and Gentile. There is only one flock (John 10:16), There is only one new man (Ephesians 2:15). There is only one body (Ephesians 3:6). There is only one Olive tree with two types of branches (Romans 11:17-24). The presentation takes place on the 8th day which will be the first day of eternity. This is the Mystery of the 8th day and on that day, the bride will have made herself ready.
