Alignment Series 1 – Lesson 6 – Part 2

Behold, I have not restrained my lips, as you know. Oh, Yehovah, Paul said, I am not ashamed of the gospel. I am not ashamed to be aligned. Why did lucifer and Judas miss their destiny? We each have a free will. This is one thing our Father will not do. He will not violate your free will. He will give you truth. He will send his spirit. He will give you time, but He will not violate your will. Misinterpreting the call. Alignment is new life. Is it possible to miss your destiny? Definitely it is. Many people miss their destiny. I was thinking about this and talking to the Father about it, and I said, how can I help them, Father, to see the beauty of alignment, and He brought to me, or it came to my mind, you know, a lot of people don’t know what they want. If you know you want the truth, you’re on a great course. You’re going in the right direction. But a lot of us have a lot of ideas we think we want, but they’re really not valuable. Because if they haven’t been weighed against what the Fathers has said, I was thinking, you know, there’s a time for everything, that’s what Solomon said. There’s a time to be born. If you have a little infant in utero, and it could make a decision and say, it’s time for you to come out, you know what he would say? No, no, no, no, I don’t want to come out. Why, because I’m in here and it’s so warm, and I feel so. I feel so secure. Mother feeds me, mother breathes for me. I don’t have to do anything. I don’t want to come out. You know, that little one is not mature enough to make a decision, and it’s not allowed for it. But one day it comes out, it’s the time, and when it comes out, you know what happens. It’s out in the open and it’s framing and it feels, it is falling and it’s screaming. Because there’s no boundaries, and suddenly everything has changed. The things it loved, the things that was so comfortable with, it’s all been taken away, and there it’s left. It doesn’t realize it’s on its way to new life. It could never make it in utero, If it would be left there, but coming out now is new life, new opportunities, new experiences that you’ve never had. That’s the way it is, when you let go and you say, Father, bring me out. Bring me out of everything, that’s not Your will. It is not what You’re doing. I want to know You above everything else. Messiah said to us in John 17:3, He said, this is eternal life, that they know the Father and you know His Son. Yeshua Hamashiach, that’s eternal life. Your life must be based on the foundations of Scripture, and our Father started His word right where the foundation is, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy. Those are the five books of foundation, and when they had completed that and Moses had finished his work, he gave that baton to Joshua. And what did he say, He said, Joshua, this book of the Torah shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, and then you’ll make your way prosperous, and then you’ll be successful. If you’re basing your life. On the Brit-Hachadashah as your source of authority. You are confused in priority of authority. The authority of life is taught in the Torah and the New Testament; the Brit-Hachadashah must fit squarely line for line on the Torah, and it will. The only reason there’s a problem is we have not rightly divided the word. We have skewed text, and we have skewed understanding, and we have laid aside things that were never meant for us to do. But we were told these things, and so we did them. So, we’re all guilty. So, we all have to repent, if you understand and you really see this thing, it’s the Father’s doing. He’s bringing light and understanding to where we’ve been confused, and you like where you are. It feels so good, everyone’s there. It doesn’t mean it’s right. It’s a very important thing that we be Bereans. I tell you again: in Acts 17:11, he said the Bereans were more honorable than the Thessalonians. Why? Because they searched the scriptures and they found texts for everything they’re doing. Our Father is not going to accept mixture. We’ve got a lot of mixture today. We’ve got to get come out from that and get aligned with him. And you will help your neighbor, You will help your family, You don’t help people by staying in mixture. Who in Scripture was confronted with the call to alignment? What was their response? Who do we have to look at? His destiny was recorded before the creation of the whole world. He was born. It was foretold before the foundation of the world, but it was only made manifest in these last days. Peter said, Messiah Himself, He comes. He’s got to walk in alignment. He can’t go up to the temple and follow the leaders, because it’s become a corrupted leadership. Did you know at the time that Messiah came, It’s not even a line of Aaron in the High Priest. It’s a corrupted line. Although he was a son, it says he learned obedience from what he suffered. You and I will go through some suffering, suffering helps knock off the rough edges of us. Suffering is good. In fact, Judaism teaches this. There are three ways to Kuhn, to repair the world. There are three methods our Father uses. First of all, He uses obedience to the Torah, obeying the commandments that will repair the world. You see, because every time you and I obey what our Father

Alignment Series 1 – Lesson 6 – Part 1

We want to thank Him, and I’m just going to open in prayer, if we might, our Father, we just thank You. How can we say thanks for all You’ve done for us, all You’ve given us, and that You not only created us, but You sustained us day by day, moment by moment. And we just thank You for Your corrections. We thank You for calling us to be aligned with You. I just thank you so much, Father, and I just pray that You will open my mouth, bring to my heart and memory those things that I should share and that we just have the privilege to revel together in Your awesome thoughts and ways. Oh, that we might know You. As Moses said, ” Show me Your ways, that I might know You. Oh, Father, we just count it such a privilege to call You, our Father. And we just ask You to bless our time in Yeshua’s Name. Amen. Well, I really there were so many things. I kind of wanted to do this last lesson around, and not even sure if I hit the mark or not. But, you know, I didn’t really line this out where we were going. It just kind of working it, as the opportunity each week came. But this lesson I have called Keys to Destiny. But before we can actually move into the lesson itself, we’ve got to pick up Sukkot. Because I spend so much time on Yom Teruah and Rosh Hashanah. If you have your Teshuvah reference guide, it will be really good; you can have it open to pages 42-43. We’ll move over to page 50 in and out of that. And you’re familiar with that now. But I hadn’t given you this verse, and it can be a little bit confusing to people. This is in Deuteronomy 16: 16-17, but it’s also in several other places. I think I saw it yesterday in Exodus 34:23. It says, three times a year your male shall appear before You, Yehovah your Elohim at the place that He has chosen. And at the feast of Hag Hamatzah, that’s unleavened bread, at the Feast of Shavuot. That’s the feast of weeks, which you call Pentecost, the Feast of Sukkot/ Booths. So, three times, but we talk about seven festivals. Well, that’s because they’re grouped in three, one and three. Now that’s the annual festivals. But we are really teaching, if you remember, that every week we have a festival in Sabbath. So, we have a weekly festival. We actually have a monthly festival in Rosh Chodesh, which is the renewed moon, which starts the Hebraic month. So we remember that the Spring Festival are our Father’s, Thus, we’re on a journey of restoration. I hope in our first lesson we establish that, after the Fall in Genesis 3. From then on, the rest of the story of the Bible is restoration. But now watch this. We’ve been on this journey now for 5000 years. We’re almost at the 6000 year marker. So we are a people that are coming up to the pinnacle of time that our Father is about to change his program. And so we happen to be a people that, like when Messiah came the first time, we’re the people to be ready to welcome Him on His Second Appearing. So these first three festivals that He called Hag Hamatzah are really Passover or Pesach, Unleavened Bread and First fruits Bikkorim. They all come in Nissan. So if you go to page 42, we’re going to deal with just looking at those again. We’ve looked at them a number of times, but remember that there was only one calendar until Exodus 12, if you remember. I hope you do, because that’s a big landmark. In Exodus 12, He was getting ready to bring the Israelites out of bondage, out of slavery, and He said, I’m going to bring you out. You come this way with Me. And so He tells them they’re to kill the little lamb. The details are in Exodus 12. But He said, I’m giving you a new calendar. And they don’t really, couldn’t understand that then. But because that’s the way He does us, He gives us something to do. Little by little. We understand it. We don’t know it right to begin. But we walk by faith always. When you walk with the Father, you walk by faith. And so He says, the Passover lamb, the unleavened bread, and going through the Red Sea, those are the picture of Redemption. And so Israel, He uses them, a natural people to walk out those that pattern of Redemption. Then you remember, after the coming through the Red Sea, we learned later when we come into the land of the festivals, that there was the barley harvest, and they cut the first fruit sheaf. That’s who is that? That’s Messiah. He’s the First Fruit from the resurrection of the dead. And then there were 49 other sheaves. So when you counted the 40, the 50 sheaves, when you got to the 50th day, then you were at Shavuot. And so you can see in your book, I don’t know that you can see it up on the slide, but in your book, the Three Festivals of Redemption are in Nissan. That’s the first month of the sacred calendar. But Shavuot or Pentecost is about the sixth of Sivan. Fifty days later, after they came through that Red Sea, they ended up you’ll find it in Exodus 19, on the Rosh Chodesh, the renewed moon of Sivan, the 50 day marker. And what do they get there? They get the Torah. So the first Pentecost, the first Torah, the first Shavuot, Israel gets the Torah. So when you get to Acts chapter two, actually, what the Father is really doing in Acts chapter two, in that Pentecost, He’s now giving the Torah

Alignment Series 1 – Lesson 2 – Part 2

Why were the Bereans considered more honorable than the Thessalonians, you know, today? We’re where we are spiritually, because we weren’t Bereans. That’s seven, that’s Acts 17:11. It says that the Bereans were more honorable than the Thessalonians, and why? Because of everything they had been taught, they went to search for the scriptures to see if they were so. The point is this: if it’s not in the text, the Bible doesn’t teach it. And if it teaches it, it says it. If it doesn’t say it, it doesn’t teach it. Any teaching that is not biblically supported by text can result in scriptural misalignment. And I call them potholes. Remember last week, I was so excited, coming again today, the potholes all the way here are fixed, and they remain. They’ve done a great job. I’m not dodging those potholes anymore, or I would fall into one trying to miss another. They’re all repaired. I’m telling you, it’s a sign. In the spirit. See, you’ve got to be able to see when He’s doing something. He’s doing that. He’s repairing the potholes in the natural because He’s going to repair your potholes. Isn’t it exciting? Oh, it’s something to get excited about. When Christian scholars mistranslated the Hebrew word Torah and made it, See, that’s what I love about these Bibles. All these Bibles that are translated by Jews, are they getting it? We’re getting it back in the right words. There’s no law here. This is all Torah. It can be law in very rare instances. But 90% of the time, the words should have been Torah. It’s called restoration. Have you ever hung wallpaper? If so, you know a plumb line is critical. Now I’ve hung, I wouldn’t consider myself a wall paperer, but I have hung a little wallpaper in my earlier days; I don’t recommend it at this age, but if you don’t get a plumb line, and if you don’t have a plumb bob and you don’t snap that plumb line and you have that paper two millimeters off, by the time you get to the corner, you are pulling your hair out. Well, that’s the way it is Scripturally, Biblically, Spiritually, you’ve got to be sure the way you’re dividing the word, you’re hitting a plumb line. In Zechariah 4:8, I believe it says he’s going to put a plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. I personally think that we entered that day, I won’t go into it now, but I personally think on 09/11/1999, the plumb line dropped. We reached the 20-year marker on 9/11/ 2019. This past 911, 2019, 20 years.  20 is the number of expectations. I am coming into 2020; it is a whole new era. We are now into a 2020 vision. You see, it’s a natural. It’s time for you to see; it’s time for you to wake up; it’s time for you to stop and say, “Where is my text for everything I’ve been doing?” Because as long as you’re in your body suit, and you’re breathing, you can make decisions and change. And He’s so gracious. He will catch you up in a hurry. I’ve seen him do it. He’s done for all of us. Now I’m going to tell you an encounter I had because it helps explain how I got where I am. But this was a long time ago. I would consider myself a very slow learner. And you’ll see why. I had already started in the ministry. The Lord had released me into the city, and I was gathering pastors across denominational lines. The Lord was blessing that, and they were meeting in prayer times. And someone in our city, a very well-known, wonderful person, had contacted Billy Graham’s headquarters. They were having a Lausanne 2 conference in Manila, Philippines, and said they really thought I should go because of the work I was doing in the city. I didn’t know they were doing this, but they called and said, “Would you go, Marilyn? If you get an invitation? I said, well, I guess I wasn’t looking to go. It never even entered my brain to go there. They only took 467 from the United States. They set a quota for each country. But unbeknownst to me, when I came home into my office one evening, there was a letter there from Doctor Thomas Wong. I opened it, and it said, ” We are inviting you to be a special guest at the Lausanne 2 conference, and we’ll need to know if you can come. So, of course, I prayed about it and went. Evangelism is not my thing. I can evangelize, but that’s not my thing. My thing is teaching believers to walk in the word, to know the word, to live the word. And I’m trying to do that, too. So I went, and I met a woman. I heard her, but she didn’t know I was even there. Her name is Julia Thomas. This was the first year, the first time Billy Graham had ever had a woman as a moderator. Now I thought she was a speaker, because I heard a message. She was the most anointed person there in the ten days I was there. I came home, and three years later, in 1992, I got a newsletter from her. I have never got one before. In January, I opened the thing, and the anointing was all over it. I thought, “This is really interesting. I took it to Albert and Anne Rountree, who were praying with me, and I said, ” You know, I’m getting the feeling I’m supposed to bring Julia Thomas from India. They looked at me and said, “Marilyn.” I just get, really, a witness to this. So long story short, we all agreed we were. So, I tried to call her. I don’t know what time it is in India, daytime or not. I have tried to look

Alignment Series 1 – Lesson 2 – Part 1

Well, I really appreciate you being with us. And, this is just a tremendous opportunity for us to get to know our Father together. I am so excited. When I just talk about Him. I get weepy, I am so excited. This journey of knowing our Father. You know, I look for a lot of. I look for songs about the Father. There’s hardly any and, but you see, we’re coming up. The time of the Father’s presence being returned. I don’t want to get ahead of my teachings, so I like for us to pray together, If we might. I just want to welcome each one of you. If you’re new today, we hope you feel, welcome. And if you feel like you missed something we’ve got notes for you from last week, and then plus it’s on YouTube so you’d be able to catch up really fast. So let’s pray, Our Father. Such an honor to be called by Your Name. And we’re just so grateful that you took us. You made us, created us, and then you redeemed us. And I just pray today, I would be able to articulate in some measure of Your greatness, of Your goodness. and what You have revealed in Your word that we might be able to grasp it. I just ask that Your breath, Your spirit, would just settle upon us and You’ll deposit in us. Your essence, who You are that we might know You. We want to know You, Father. And we want to. We want to tell how great You are, So if You would help us do that. But we know You don’t need us, but we want to serve You in that way. Thank You, in Yeshua Name because he came to reveal You to us. And we won’t want to miss one thing in this journey while we’re still here on planet Earth. We ask it again in Your Name and for Your glory, Amen. Well, I want to remind you of a passage in the scriptures that’s very dear to my heart, a little bit obscure, might not be. I mean, you may already know this story, but it’s one of those, I love to find these things are tucked in there, and they’ve treasures, jewels in them. This story comes out of Jeremiah 35. I don’t have any slides on it. I just decided I wanted to tell you about this story, though I do want to open to the text. The story is about the  Rechabites, the Rechabites are descendants of Jethro. We just had Jethro in parsha this past week or Sabbath yesterday, and, but the Rechabites are descendants of Jethro, who is the Father in law of Moses. So a very special people. You know, when our Father was going to teach something, He often starts with a natural to drive His point home. He’s a great teacher. And so He tells Jeremiah, Jeremiah, go and get the Rechabites. Plan a party. Put it in the temple in one of the rooms and invite the Rechabites to come. And be sure you have plenty of wine. And so they come. And so I don’t know if you have your Bibles, you might like to look at Jeremiah 35. And so the Rechabites come and, they are seated and the wine is poured and they say, oh, we can’t drink that. We don’t drink wine. And then they went on to say, our Father, Jonadad, who was the son of Rechab, have taught us not to drink wine. In fact, he said, never drink wine. Three things he told them, don’t drink wine, don’t build houses. you’re to live in tents and don’t plant vineyards. So they told those, Jeremiah already knew this, but. And then the Lord goes on to say, the Father goes on to say, if you read the text, the Rechabites have always obeyed their father. They’ve done what their father asked them to do all these years. They have made these three priorities. They never will drink wine. They don’t plant vineyards and they live in tents. They are a nomadic people. And then He goes on to say, I pleaded with My people. I have sent them Prophets. I’ve sent the messengers, I’ve pleaded with them. Please obey Me. But they don’t listen. They won’t obey Me. And so now I’m going to have to judge them. And He tells them what He’s going to do. He’s going to take them into captivity. It’s the. It’s the House of Judah He’s talking to. Israel’s already been in captivity for a long period of time, but He always tells you what He’s going to do before He does it. But He never does anything until He warns you and warns you and warns you. He said, I’ve loved you, but you won’t listen to me. And then He goes on to make this great. promise to the Rechabites. Listen to what He says. Because you obeyed your father, you showed honor to your father, You will have someone to stand before Me all the days without end. Can you imagine? Not because they served Him, but they did. They were a people that were close to Israel. But the point I want to drive home is when we obey our Father, the honor, and there’s one of the commandments, you know, one of the ten sayings, honor your father and your mother. And, you know, if we never learned to honor our father and mother on planet Earth, you’ll have a hard time honoring your Heavenly Father. And the more respect you have for a parent, the easier it would be for you to have respect for the Almighty. Well, I love this story because it tells me I only find three people in all of scripture that got this promise. Phineas got the promise that he would have one to stand before the

Alignment Series 1 – Lesson 1 – Part 2

When we say a natural to a spiritual, you can see very clearly: What was the first man?

He was Adam. He took the dust of the earth, he picked it up, and he formed a man. And Paul says he was of the earth, earthly. He was called Adam. But the last Adam in First Corinthians 15:46—he says the last Adam is from the heaven. He’s spiritual, and He’s heavenly. So you have a first Adam. You have a last Adam that goes on and on and on.

Meat in Due Season

At the time when Matthew’s verses were re
corded, I can imagine they were trying to tell us that we, who would come in the future, should be watching for the return of the Lord, and to do that, we needed to look into the Scriptures and discern the times in which we are living, in order to be
ready. It is amazing that we first are presented with a question. Who is faithful and wise whom the Lord has appointed to lead other people spiritually, i.e. pastors, leaders and teachers in the Body of Messiah?

The Root and Offspring of David

It is unmistakably clear, that the revealing of Yeshua (Jesus) to the Apostle and servant, Yochanan, (John) in the book of Revelation, records some of the Lord’s last utterances to us who have come to believe in Him. He actually left a reminder to us to never forget that He is a Jewish Lord, Rabbi and Messiah. It’s interesting that He felt that a necessity. Could it be because He foresaw the ways which His Followers, now called the Church, would fail to recall and subsequently disregard His Jewishness to the point of depicting Him visually to generations by portraying Him as a blond-haired, blue-eyed gentile god and savior? In a review of the New Testament no other man or woman in the Bible has been given such space to make certain that the entire family background was given to identify them with their human lineage. I find it amazing that His genealogical descent appears at the start of the New Testament, penned by Matthew, and ends with John recording the words of Yeshua concerning His bloodline (in the flesh) as they trace His humanity from the root and offspring of King David. It appears that neither Matthew nor Yeshua wanted anyone to disconnect Him from His ethnicity, culture, or tradition from the family and nation of Israel.

Finding Your Way Home

As the Spirit of God came and exited the Temple from the east, it is recorded in Scripture that His Radiance and Shekinah Glory will likewise return to Jerusalem.  As the Son of God departed from Jerusalem, and went to the Father, He will also return, to set up His Father’s Kingdom on earth for a thousand-year reign in Jerusalem.  (Ezekiel 43:1-5; Zechariah 14:4; Acts 1:9-12; Matthew 24:27; Revelation 20:6).
